Welcome to the YA Scavenger Hunt Fall 2014!!

It's that time of year again! Welcome to the Fall 2014 YA SCAVENGER HUNT!!!!

Participating in the YA Scavenger Hunt is easy! Here's all you have to do:

The hunt opens officially at noon Pacific Time--all posts by authors should be up then. 

During that time, you can go to the participating authors blogs and websites--you can find them all here. The first thing on the page should be their hunt information--there you can find out about new authors and get exclusive content.

Take note of the highlighted number on each author's hunt page. You need that number to enter the contest!

Each author is on either the RED, BLUE, GREEN, GOLD, ORANGE, or INDIE Team. Add up the numbers of all the authors on the red team, and you have the secret code you need to enter the contest for the red team--then do the same for the blue! The prize is all the books from the authors on that team which you can find here! You can only enter once, and your entry only counts if you have the right number, so make sure you get the right code! Break out those calculators!

You have to submit your entry by October 5, noon, Pacific Standard Time. You can submit your entry for each team HERE.

On Oct 10th, we'll announce the winners! There's one winner for each team. The hunt IS open internationally, to all ages, so you have no excuse to not join in the fun!

A quick note as we kick off the celebration:

The Hunt doesn't officially begin until noon, Pacific Standard Time. 

This is 3pm Eastern Standard Time. 

While some authors will have their material up prior to this time,

not all materials in the Hunt will be up until this time.

Hello to Hunters seasoned and new. We are so glad that you are joining us for the Fall 2014 edition of YA Scavenger Hunt. We are down to just one week until the hunt!

If you have never participated in a hunt before, never fear. We have just the page for you to give you an idea of how it works. Don't be afraid of just jumping in and figuring it out. We've made it as easy as we can to make this an enjoyable experience for everyone involved!

With 125 authors and 6 teams, you will have a very full 72 hours if you choose to go through all of the teams. You'll have so much fun reading all the content and learning about new authors and books!

Wow! I'll tell you right now, you are going to want to set aside your whole weekend for this hunt! I am blown away by our authors and know you will have a blast.

This year we have 120 authors participating. Yes, you read that right. One hundred and twenty! We've made six teams which we have never had before. This is fantastic! I've met many of these authors and am super excited to see many new-to-the-hunt authors as well as many regulars back.
